Our lady of the Rosary Church is adjacent to Basilica of bom Jesus. It is situated in Velha Goa, on the holy hill. The church came into existence in 1606. The Church is made with laterite and the touch up is given with lime Mortar. The two storied building has a cross on top of the towers. It has two chapels and three altars; the important altar is dedicated to our Lady of the Rosary. The manulin style church looks like it is of a Gothic style. In the interiors of the church you will see a marble remembering the marriage of Dona Catrina with Viceroy Garcia De Sa. The marriage was conducted by St Francis Xavier.
