Siridao Beach – Beauty of Caves

Once you have visited Goa, you will never feel that this is a land of beaches. This is because; all the beaches are special in its kind and are capable of bringing tourists from another beach located in Goa. The best example which makes this statement true is the Siridao beach.
The location of Siridao is near the Suari estuary. This is a few kilometers away from Panjim. This rocky and sandy beach is well known for the presence of caves which have a mysterious look. This beach is known among tourists as a paradise of shell collectors. This is mainly due to the presence of a wide collection of Oysters and shells of pearls on the Siridao beach.
Another major tourist attraction on the Siridao beach is the Chapel of the Jesus of Nazareth. This brings devotees from all over the world to this church and they come to pay respect to Jesus. This number of devotes increase greatly during the time of Easter. This is to attend the feast held in the church during this time.
As you enter the village, you can see three statues made of stone, designed to play instruments. There is a huge testimony resembling a man, preserved in the village.
The Holy Souls Chapel is another great tourist attraction of the Siridao beach. The beautiful chapel constructed in 1973 is well known for the architectural work of the church. This is another evidence of the uniqueness of the beaches of Goa. Siridao beach offering a comfortable weather has tourists flowing in all the twelve months to explore its beauty.
