You can see one of the picturesque views of Goa when you reach the Church of Our Lady of the Mount. The name was kept after expressing that the chapel was on a mount. It has undergone reconstruction twice. It is said that it was specially made by Afonso de Albuquerque in 1510; however it went through early construction work in 1596. The Pulpit of the Chapel were robbed somewhere around 1980, due to lack of attention and negligence to this wonderful creation. You can see a wonderful view from this part, as you will see river Mondovi and many other Church towers.
