Many tourists are attracted to Goa because of the beaches that offer peace of mind and relaxation to them. This is not different with the Majorda beach of Goa. This beach is selected by them whenever they want to listen to the humming of sea. The beauty of the beach lies in the scene of the beautiful sea dressed in orange frills and sprayed by the golden rays of sun. You will surely love to enjoy this beauty reading a book and lying on the beach. You will find that most of the tourists are visiting Majorda for this and only this reason.

There are some other attractions which make Majorda quite famous and special among the tourists. One main aspect is the delicious breads for which Majorda is world famous. This beach has an interesting story behind it. This story is so closely connected to the culture and tradition of Goa. Majorda is the village where the Jesuits found out the best toddy unique for Goa. This was used for leavening the breads. Hence Goans were trained for the delicate art involved in the baking of breads in Europe.

Goan beach, Majorda has various other stories related to it, out of which one is connected to Ramayana. As per that story, Rama was kidnapped when he was a child and was brought to the beaches of Majorda.  The beach has a stretch of development which brings tourists to the current Majorda. The stories have a strong influence in binding it to the ancient Goan culture and tradition.
