The Querim beach is one of the lengthiest beaches of Goa with three miles extending sand and tall pine trees adding beauty to it. A healthy walk through the beaches in the morning is really a pleasing experience. We can see the solitary figures expecting to do business.
The estuary is a haven for birdlife and is hence a beautiful scene to the eyes. You can see kingfishers of various colors and a list of various other wading birds. This makes Querim beautiful and remote making it an ornithologist’s paradise too. It could appease your eyes to see some of the very rare birds here, and can definitely be counted as one of the unique in the world.
The beach is steep and hence not that suitable for swimming. Visitors should not try swimming in this beach since it is extremely dangerous to do so. The shore is filled with fir trees, which are the main natural attraction drawing tourists. You can even enjoy the beauty of Querim beach from the Terekhol fort. Querim beach draws tourists and they find accommodation in the hotels near by. Most of the tourists love to take a foot trip or boat from Arambol to reach Querim.
